Between the lines is a documentary series travelling across global cities to meet Muslim-led tech startup communities, founders, and builders—telling their stories at the intersection of faith, technology, intellect, and human struggle.

RAISSE Studios is currently seeking Muslim tech startup founders interested in participating in this documentary project. We are also seeking sponsorship partners to help fund the production and distribution of this documentary series.

Meet The Team

Mujahid Chowdhury is a software engineer of over ten years, turned documentary storyteller — uniquely positioned to engage deeply with founders working on complex technical problems.

Having worked across modern software systems and media, Mujahid is able to understand advanced concepts and translate them into simple, human language using analogy and narrative — making the work accessible to non-technical audiences without diluting its substance.

He believes that editorial independence is central to the integrity of all of his projects hence why he maintains strict editorial control over all content produced. This commitment ensures that the stories told are authentic and unfiltered whilst maintaining the dignity and respect of all participants according to Islamic ethical standards.

Amir Izzuddin is an imam, teacher and the founder of an AI tech startup. He has interests in the intersection of faith and technology, and is passionate about fostering ethical innovation within the Muslim community.

He wishes to travel the world to connect with Muslim tech innovators, share their stories, and provide deep insights from the Qur'an throughout the journey.

Production Methodology

The programme is filmed using a minimalist, documentary-first approach. Small crews, natural light, real environments, and unforced conversations allow participants to speak honestly and reflectively.
